✅Leeds City Council and Visa investigated whether Leeds were paying suppliers in the most efficient way; looking specifically at their use of purchasing cards. Visa and Leeds worked together, and the results were striking; exposing areas where Leeds could use Purchasing Cards to save money, time and make their systems more efficient. The review resulted in Leeds City Council growing their purchasing card programme further; with a target of £100m of spend per annum by 2018, the largest of any English Council.
