The data is presented in US Billions. 1 Billion (American English) equals to 1 Milliard (British English). TOP 5 yearly positive change in GDP is presented in the bottom line.
Purchasing power parity (PPP) shows equalised purchasing power of two currencies by taking into account cost of living and inflation differences. PPP is measured by finding the values (in US$) of a basket of consumer goods that are present in each country (f.e water, pork, pencils, apple juice etc.). If that basket costs $100 in country 1 and $200 in country 2 then the PPP exchange rate is 1:2. To put PPP simply: having 1$ in your pocket you can buy more rice in India than in the US. The values are presented in current international $.
